Co‑Learning Bridges for SEN Families: Where AI Meets Parent‑Child Communication

This project supports low‑income families with children who have special educational needs (SEN) in Hong Kong through school‑based workshops that combine parent coaching, emotion education and AI‑enabled learning. With trained student volunteers serving as “learning buddies”, the project strengthens family capacity, promotes digital inclusion and creates a replicable model that can be scaled to more schools and communities.

BarrierFreeMap.HK: Restaurant Accessibility Survey
Wheel Power Charity; The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation
BarrierFreeMap.HK is Hong Kong’s first crowdsourced accessibility map platform, currently with 2,000+ locations contributed by government departments, property managers, volunteers, and wheelchair users alike. The database covers wheelchair accessible entrances, toilets, parking, ramps, and lifts. This project will expand the platform into restaurant accessibility, training volunteers and wheelchair users to survey and crowdsource wheelchair-friendly restaurants in Hong Kong.

Land and Housing Clinic Programme
Pro Bono HK; Caritas Hong Kong
The Land and Housing Clinic Programme by Pro Bono HK, in collaboration with Caritas Hong Kong, provides free legal support and education for residents of subdivided and substandard housing in Hong Kong. This initiative aims to protect subdivided housing tenants—especially those who may be affected by the new Basic Housing Unit Ordinance—through monthly legal clinics, targeted seminars, and accessible legal resources that empower both individuals and frontline social workers across the community.
